What to expect

Our Pet-Friendly Deluxe Bedrooms are spacious and inviting, making them an ideal option for couples, groups or families who want a practical base for exploring the Lake District. Unlike our usual Deluxe Bedrooms, these rooms welcome dogs, because why wouldn’t you bring your pooch to one of the most dog-friendly areas in the UK? Complete with a large plush sofa for resting tired legs after a day on the fells, a large window looking out onto the fells, contemporary furnishings and decor inspired by the surrounding landscape. Our Dog-Friendly Deluxe Bedrooms offer up a generous space for both you and your four-legged companion.

Although a super-king as standard, we are able to configure our Deluxe Bedrooms to meet your needs, sleeping a maximum of three adults or four people if bringing children. The comfy bed can be split into twin beds if needed. Please ensure you select ‘twin beds’ during the checkout process, otherwise, a super-king will be made up. If you are bringing an extra ‘body’ or two be that one extra adult or two children or infants, we can turn the sofa in the bedroom into a full-sized double bed. Luxurious bedding is included with all beds. Crisp white linen is included with all beds.

Babies (not yet walking at the time of stay) are free of charge and there is plenty of room for a travel cot, if needed. We have the Hauck Travel Cot, Set Sleep N Play Centre available at a £10 additional charge.

The ensuite shower room is spacious and modern. There is a large walk-in rain head shower with our favourite natural Pure Lake toiletries, a wall-mounted sink, WC and a backlit heated mirror that runs the length of the bathroom. Fluffy towels and bath sheets for all guests are included as standard.

Our Dog-Friendly Deluxe Bedroom  has space for one dog and a standard crate. We can supply dog towels and poo bags. Your waggy-tailed family member will also get a bag of locally made, natural doggy treats as a welcome gift. Please bring your pet's bed, water and food bowls with you. Check-in is from 3pm until 9pm on your day of arrival and check-out is before 10am on your day of departure.
