Part Time General Assistant Job. Grasmere, Cumbria
If you think variety is the spice of life then you could be who we are looking for, we're after a couple of team members to make up our close-knit team, part-time and flexible hours are available. To help us to continue our reputation of delivering excellent food and service and assist us in covering all areas of the business from the front of house, kitchen, and housekeeping.
We like people who are enthusiastic, positive, have a sense of humour, a great work ethic and, above all, are a team player who want to continue to make The Yan a very special place to visit.We’re looking for a couple of friendly, adaptable, and hardworking individuals to join us as Part-Time General Assistants at The Yan, our award-winning bistro with rooms in the heart of the Lake District. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of departments depending on business needs and your strengths. Tasks may include front-of-house evening shifts in our bistro, assisting in the kitchen with prep, evening shifts plating starters, puds and pot wash duties, or in our housekeeping team with changeovers and cleaning in our boutique rooms and self-catering accommodation. Whether you’re seeking variety or prefer to focus on one area, we’ll aim to shape the role to suit the right candidate.
Part Time General Assistant Details:
Location: Grasmere, Lake District, Cumbria (LA22 9RU)
Position: Part-time General Assistant
Hours: Flexible from 10 hrs up to 35 hrs per week, depending on your availability
Salary: Starting from £12.50 per hour
Tips/Service Charge: Approx an additional £4,000 per year for a full time team member.

Housekeeping

We are The Yan at Broadrayne, a small family run business in Grasmere, Cumbria. We are looking for housekeepers to join our team, in order to help us continue our reputation for delivering high standards of accommodation.
We are offering part time, weekend role. Sat/Sun 10am to 3pm with excellent rates of pay ranging from £12.50 per hour (equates to approx £14.50 per hour with your share of tips), these rates will increase if you are self employed. Couple of days a week? Few hours a day? Sociable hours? No weekends? All our properties are in one location. You name it we can oblige!
