Family Friendly Accommodation
All of our options above are family-friendly accommodation, babies (not yet walking at the time of stay) are free of charge and there is plenty of room for a travel cot, in all of the above accommodations, if needed. We have the Hauck Travel Cot, Set Sleep N Play Centre with changing table, available at a £10 additional charge, just choose it as an extra on check out. If you're looking for a family friendly hotel in the Lake District, why not stay at the Yan!

Start with Easedale Tarn, just a stone’s throw from Grasmere Village. This gentle hike leads you up into the hills with breathtaking views, finishing at the ultimate picnic spot by the tarn—perfect for a family day out!
Or, for an easier trek (perfect for pushchairs), head over to Rydal Water and Cave. The scenic shoreline walk is great for all ages, and the cave adds a touch of adventure for your little wanderers.
