LITTLE SOMETHING TO NIBBLE.

Olives and cornichons bound in a honey mustard dressing. V/DF/GF (Vg available)

BAKED BRIE.

The amazing Darling Howe brie from Torpenhow (just north of Keswick), baked with truffle oil then topped with red onion & balsamic chutney and toasted seeds.

Served with fresh herb grissini, for dunking…obvs. V (GF available).

SOPHISTICATED SOUP.

Langoustine & chilli bisque packed with shrimp and haddock. Topped with chive crème fraiche and pickled cauliflower. GF

HASH BROWN NEST.

Hash brown nest, topped with crispy soft-boiled egg, pea puree and parma ham crisps. 

Sharing…for 2! 

All our sharing platters are served with Yorkshire puddings, rosemary roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, creamy mash potato, Yan stuffing, green beans, courgettes, carrots and red wine gravy. Can’t decide which one? Go half and half! Designed to share, but easy to split, please just ask if you’d like one of our platters done as a solo!

BEEF.

Slow cooked, Cumbrian, dry aged beef brisket, topped with horseradish butter. (GF/DF available) 

LAMB.

Minted, slow cooked, Herdwick Lamb shoulder wrapped in Parma ham. (GF/DF available)

PORK.

Slow cooked Cumbrian pork belly with crackling. (GF/DF available)

CHICKEN.

Thyme and garlic breaded Cumbrian chicken breast. (DF)

VEGGIE.

Roasted sweet potato stuffed with cauliflower cheese and butterbeans topped with cheddar. V (GF/DF/Vg available)

STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING.

Toffee sauce with vanilla ice cream or our own custard. V

BLACK FOREST GÂTEAU MOUSSE.

Chocolate mousse topped with boozey cherries, cherry purée, cherry cream, chocolate sponge, chocolate shards and popping candy…because why not? V (GF/DF available).

CREAM EGG TART.

Chocolate, banana and cream egg tart topped with whipped cream and toffee popcorn on a pistachio crème fraiche. 

MINI EGG PAVLOVA.

Mini pavlova with Chantilly cream, passionfruit curd, mini eggs, raspberry sauce, topped with seed brittle and fresh raspberries and blueberries. (DF available)

YAN-IMISU CHEESECAKE.

A Yan twist on tiramisu! Oreo biscuit base, lady fingers soaked in Red Bank coffee, mascarpone & Marsala cheesecake topped with grated chocolate.  V

Made up of three amazing British cheeses that have been carefully selected and taste tested by us! Served with bread crisps, chutney, and fresh fruit, all made here at The Yan. (GF available).
