The Great Lake District Swim Challenge – West is a two-day, action-packed mission to swim every swimmable lake on the western side of England’s largest national park. That’s seven lakes in two days, with incredible scenery, thrilling crossings, and a whole lot of Lake District magic along the way.

You’ll be guided, supported, and inspired by the expert team at Swim the Lakes as you journey between swims via your very own Swim Bus, weaving through valleys and around towering peaks. Each lake offers something different — from mirror-flat early-morning dips to more rugged, remote waters — and every stop delivers jaw-dropping views, big swim energy, and serious bragging rights.
