Now one of the most popular traditional events in the English Lake District, participants compete in a variety of sports, including Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling, Fell Running and Hound Trails.
The 2023 Annual Grasmere Lakeland Sports, now celebrating 173 years of existence, has been a regular annual event since 1868, unbroken except for the two periods of the First and Second World Wars, and then in 2020 for Covid-19.
An event not to be missed, especially when we will be there serving our hearty Cumbrian inspired grub!
